Peter Rosen

Peter is admitted to practice law in the State Courts of New Jersey and New York, the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and New York, the United States Supreme Court. Peter graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey with a B.A. in Economics and earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee College of Law.

Peter’s main areas of practice include the buying, selling, leasing and developing of real estate, commercial, including shopping centers, and residential and all phases of land use planning. He also is experienced in the buying and selling of businesses of all sizes and the formation of Corporations, Limited Liability Companies and Shareholder and Member agreements, including Buy-Sell, non-compete agreements and succession planning as well as wills and estates.

He negotiated with the World Trade Center Memorial, The NY-NJ Port Authority, the City of New York and the general Contractor for the World Trade Center on behalf of a client that installed the “Named Parapets” which are plaques that serve as the borders for the two reflecting pools, and contain the names of the victims of the 9/11 World Trade Center destruction.

Peter has been a Municipal Prosecutor. He has also been the President and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Volunteers for Morris County, a non-profit that supplies volunteers for other non-profit organizations as well as training for non-profit Boards of Directors and is a United Way organization. He also served as attorney for the Rockaway Township Historical Society where he negotiated a lease from Rockaway Township for the Ford Faesch House, a national historical landmark.

Peter also represented the developer of a 672 unit adult community from land acquisition to all approvals from the State, County, and Municipal Governments and the Department of Community affairs, to preparation of contracts with sub-contractors. He also conducted all the closings on the units and served as the initial attorney for the condominium association.
